We signed up for the Spectrum's Latino Deal for Internet and TV for $59.95 and then received the bill for $165.00. There have been so many issues since we switched over from ATT to save money. Now they expect us to pay more? During this COVID-19 crisis we have enough to worry about losing our jobs and dying, while we must put up with this abuse of being over charged? We left ATT;T to save money, not spend more. Please help to escalate and resolve this issue. We were going to bring over our cell service, but we will not let them treated us in this manner.

I called Spectrum cable/internet and a rep in the Philippines told me that it is to be disregarded, I told him three times that is was not an email and that it was a letter in the USPS mail, again he said ignore it. He said had it really been Spectrum, then they would have sent an email. He said he checked my modem from his end and did not see anything wrong. He was limited in his use of words. I kept asking "so this is hacking?" and then he would say "just disregard the letter." I am disgusted with Spectrum. 3 months ago Spectrum Mobile sent me an email to verify my purchase of 3-4 very expensive I-phones and that they needed more information. I never ordered anything. They stopped the order cold. They said a hacker had my name and address and phone number and placed an order for the pricey phones. Imagine the cost of 3-4 top of the line I-phones? Geesh, I have a cheap LG. Anyway, this Spectrum rep last night told me to ignore the letter but was cautious in how he spoke. I surmise that someone behind the bogus letter wants me to go sign up on their web page and run their scan and call their number so they can take all my info out of the computer. When I asked the rep if the letter was Bogus, he weakly responded "Yes." After this coronavirus is over in NY I will leave Spectrum for another company. Can't deal with this now, too much *** going on. Imagine? The planet is in *** mode and there are hackers sending letters via mail? But people keep referring to the hard copy paper in my hand as an email and that makes me so annoyed, again it was a letter in the postal mail. The representative very cautiously as if afraid of speaking incorrectly did say "Spectrum will never send you that kind of email/letter." I wish I could have talked to someone in the USA, someone in New York but the wait time was over 50 minutes so I scheduled a call back which did come. I never called the phone number stated in the paper letter. I called the regular Spectrum/old Time Warner phone number to be on the safe side and I will call it again but they have a long wait as few people are going into offices and I assume many have been laid off due to the coronavirus, God protect us.

Worst customer service they don't even know how to deal a issue, wrong bills overall I can give zero rating if possible.

Because of the wrong bill I called customer service and he said he resolved the issue and I'm all set before closing my service. Later after six months without any notice I see a remark on my credit report because of the payment due.

Upset with Company

They decided to cut off the internet service to a senior care facility in the midst of the shut down. Their only concern during this time is the money. After all the additional expenses to get masks,gloves,gowns,shields,paper products.....etc, had to shell out more to these guys in order to operate the facility.

I spent over three hours on chat window waiting for someone

I could not get anyone to come online. I am trying to see if I could get an email regarding an old account. I am having a company trying to say that I did not pay my account. Its one that has been closed for some time and was 0 balance. Please email me that this account has been closed and nothing is due in order to have so I can make sure this company does not put this on my credit report. I finally cleaned it up and am not allowing a scammer to kill my credit again. My email account is Califor***@yahoo.com. The account number is 84484*******. I spent three hours yesterday on hold. And looks like will be on hold for a while today. The chat disconnected me.

tonight i turned on showtime and epic and instead of movies etc and the only thing on was spectrum commercials and advertisements for on demand movies. it kept going over the same movies and telling the viewer they were on demand. fortunately i canceled all the premium channels and only watched showtime and epic free. i am disgusted that you would do that and if you were trying to get people to subscribe you have done the opposite with me. i will never purchase premium channels again and if netflix does the same crap i will cancel it as well. what idiot approved the airing of that stupidity?

Customer service people lie service people don’t have equipment that works

Last night at 10:15 pm I reported a pixelating audio problem on my cable. I was given an appointment between 12and 1 the next day with a promise of a text before arrival. At 1:35pm he arrived no text. He was here for 35 minutes. 5 minutes oh he told me his meter *** out. He needed to get a new one. After he made a call he came in a while later and said everything was ok he mentally read the output of the broken meter and left. Tonight I have pix elating audio problems again. I made another call to csr dispatch then called 2 minutes later and said someone would be out tonight 30 minutes later someone called and said I had an apt between 3 and 4 tomorrow. I am calling corporate Monday. Ill suffer. Tomorrow is Saturday, Sunday is church. I work for a living and Cant be taking off work to get cable repaired.

I’ve haven’t had this service a week and have been lied to multiple times when I got the service I was told I had the highest speeds but the technician said I didn’t we couldn’t even watch a movie with out it buffering so I called it to change it then they send me a new promotion in the mail for cable and internet for the price of what I’m paying for just internet I’ve spoke to 7 people today just for them to tell me I had to speak with a different department to get it changed so I could get the promotion the last man I spoke to even told me the price I would be paying after they changed the promotion just for me to get on the phone and the department tell me it’s no way for it to be changed and it was nothing they could do advised me to go into the store I’ve been on the phone with customer service all day not the *** store no one wanted to take of for the wrong doing and my time being wasted all damn day is ridiculous terrible company

Went to charter to pay my bill and during a conversation I made a derogative remark about gays and trans genders and my having to pay for there meds and was told I was a bigot and was not welcome in there office and I told them is the bill excused then and was again asked to leave rather sternly, I again asked about the bill and stated thay my reasoning was from the Bible and was told the person who challenged me did not believe in the Bible which was his choice. Again asked to leave and again was reminded to being a bigot. There were three other employees there who never made a comment to me or the other employee who called me names. Not good business practice.
