Charter Communications - Boycott this company!

They are awful! After screwing up with my bill for three months, I thought I finally got the issue resolved.
When I opened up my bill today, it was for $300. Yes, that is right -- $300. I called customer service to explain what the previous quote had been, and the guy said, "We have no record of you calling.
You are a liar." At this time, I completely lost my mind and canceled my service. Better to be without TV for awhile than pay this *** company.
RUN, don't walk away from this company.
Reason of review: Pricing issue.
Location: San Diego, California

There is really no reason for you or most people to pay for cable television. In your case---San Diego---you should be able to get many, many stations for free "over the air" via a cheap antenna, called "rabbit ears." Charter cable internet is actually very good, tho pricey and in my area at least, very reliable.
You can use the internet connection to stream and watch almost any television show, movie, etc.
you want. Charter customer service has become rather unreliable of late, it seems.
