So the Charter/Spectrum on-demand was not working (again) so I thought this time I would try to help them out and call in the error code using the number provided on screen with the error message. Here's what happened: first I had to listen to a directv ad, then I had to listen to an ad for hot local singles, then I had to "grab a pen" so I could "write down" the correct number to call since this number had been changed.

Seems like it would not have been too hard to just put the correct number on the screen where they gave me the number to call but whatever.

So.... I called the new number and had to listen to an AT&T ad, and then I'm not sure what happened. I thought at first I had gotten through to Charter (or Spectrum) because it wanted my city and state, then it wanted the first 3 letters of "the person" last name. Huh?

I think maybe I had actually been suckered into an ad for a 411 service.

Anyway after a bit it got tired of me not reponding and hung up on me. I never got to report the error code for the non functional on-demand services.
