On October 23rd 2017-Damon (a salesman in St. Louis) gave me the triple play sales pitch that did not correctly identify all the charges for cable boxes that you can expect to pay with their 2 year rate guarantee.

Tried again on October 24 to get a total triple play total. This time my call was again directed to St. Louis. This time a salesman named Jim told me I could qualify for a 3 year deal.

When I asked why the salesman from the day before had only a 2 year option he said that was just a reseller not giving me the best package. Being very happy with a 3 year deal I ordered service. However I noticed that nowhere on Spectrum websites did they guarantee a rate beyond 12 months. When I called Jim back and told him that I wanted that rate in writing he just brushed it off and told me he would have a superviser call me.

Being very suspicious I went to the St. Cloud Mn. area office to check on my order that I had just placed. The gals that work at the office looked it up and found that there was no 3 year available at my St.

Cloud Mn. address. There was the 2 year guarantee but neither salesman told me about the 5.00 dollar a month Wi-Fi charge or that the DVR box was 13.95 per month. Also upon taking my order Jim never correctly got all my phone number information to transfer my number to the triple play.

Was also informed that my install amount was 44.00 not the 35.00 that was quoted when I placed the order. I still ordered the triple play package but demanded that they cancel the order that Jim had placed and instead give the commission to the gal that helped me in the office. This time I have the 2 year package in writing--the phone info is correct--the charge is still 19.00 more per month than the phone salesmen quoted me but still an O.K. deal .

It looks like both these Saint Louis salespeople are pitching wrong figures because the customer can cancel at any time.

Who would want to have to go through another install after they find out that the figures and time frame of offer are wrong. Beware of Spectrums sales team that is based in St.Louis

Reason of review: Pricing issue.

None of your info is accurate at all I truly believe you made this up to complain. There's not even a 2 or 3 year anything we have no contracts for one .

Some bad reviews are correct but this is nonsense even the DVr price was totally wrong. Sad
